What It Means to Dilly Dally (From the Founder)
Share
I didn’t start Dilly Dally because I had extra time.
I started it because I was tired of feeling like I never did.
Somewhere along the way, life started to feel like a checklist — work, deadlines, expectations, pressure to always be doing more. And I remember thinking… when do we actually get to enjoy it?
That’s where this came from.
To dilly dally, to me, means choosing your life instead of rushing through it.
It’s slowing down on purpose. It’s romanticizing the small things. It’s letting your day breathe a little.
It’s not about doing nothing — I’m building a company, working a full-time job, chasing big goals.
But I refuse to believe I have to sacrifice how life feels to get there.
Dilly dallying looks like:
- Taking the long way home just because you can
- Sitting in the sun a little longer than planned
- Letting a moment be enough without turning it into productivity
This brand was built on the idea that you can want more for your life…
and still move through it slowly.
That you can build something big…
without losing the softness that makes it worth it.
So no, dilly dallying isn’t about wasting time.
It’s about refusing to waste your life.
And if you’re here, I have a feeling you get that.
